FAQs

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE NAME REFUGE CHURCH?

One beautiful, recurring theme of Scripture speaks of Christ our Refuge. The world is filled with broken and hurting people. Broken and hurting financially, emotionally, relationally, mentally, and most of all, spiritually. Jesus Christ died and rose again to provide the healing for our brokenness, the renewal of our lives, and the eternal safety for our souls. Our mission is to see the broken connect with Jesus Christ, our Refuge.

WHAT IS THE VISION/MISSION OF REFUGE CHURCH?

Our vision and mission are one. We desire to lead others to connect with Jesus Christ in a personal relationship (love God), belong with other believers in community (love people), and serve the world near and far with the Good News of the Kingdom of God (love our world).

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO A WORSHIP SERVICE AT REFUGE CHURCH?

We encourage you to wear whatever you prefer for worship whether casual or business attire. Our staff and leadership are consistently semi-casual.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE WORSHIP AT REFUGE?

Worship in its definition and goal goes far beyond music or style. The musical expression of our worship tends to incorporate modern and contemporary music and style while also providing fresh, modern arrangements to some classic hymns. In everything, we aim for our worship gathering to be Christ-centered and directed.
