Hope for the Hopeless
Jonathan Brooks   -

Continuing in Mark 5, we see two hopeless situations. Ones that we are all very familiar with: chronic illness and death. We are reminded that Jesus is the only hope we have in this life. Often when we try to fix our lives in our own strength, we end up worse off than when we started. May we trust and hope in Christ even when it doesn’t seem like He is answering our prayers in the way we think He should. He hasn’t forgotten us, but loves us deeply.
