During the Reformation, Martin Luther and the other Reformers defended the truth that people can only be saved by faith alone, through grace alone, in Christ alone, under the authority of Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone. Romans 3:21-28 was one of the cornerstone passages that stirred Martin Luther to speak out for the truth of the gospel. May we never forget the power of the gospel, and may we stand on the truth of who God is and all He’s done.
