Jonathan Brooks   -

At the end of Paul’s life, many of his closest friends abandoned him. His only assurance was in the presence of God by his side. He trusted God to deal with those had wronged him and he forgave those who deserted him. In all of it, he had faith that the Lord Jesus Christ had faithfully sustained him. May we have that same confidence in God to work in our lives and keep us from stumbling, and may we keep running the race He has set before us.
Scripture: II Timothy 4:9-22
